Kai Voigt

still considers ‘adventure playground for adults’ to be the best answer to the question of what an organisation is. However, he does remain fascinated by the complexity of these social ecosystems in which people spend most of their waking hours.

Following international stints in communications and digital agencies and a second career phase as a strategy consultant, Kai has arrived at what drives him at his core: developing human beings, organisations - and things in general - for the better. With this purpose, he takes on roles as a designer, structure provider and trainer for executives and teams who want to take their organisation new heights. In addition to VALOURIE, Kai devotes time to the Shift Collective consulting network as well as to building the Future Galore think tank.

An essential ingredient for any innovation project

We believe that people deserve the best organisations that can be designed in the 21st century.

At the same time, we are aware that every organisation can only cope with a certain amount of change per unit of time.

That is why we combine innovation management approaches with the attitude and methodology of systemic organisational development.

For the new ways that your managers, employees, customers and partners are happy to embrace.

5 Songs. For 5 tenets that are important to us.

Power of Equality Red Hot Chili Peppers

Monocultures are easy to manage, yet misguided. New things emerge much more easily when diversity, equivalence and freedom from fear can be taken for granted. That is when equality can hardly keep up with power.

All the good girls go to hell Billie Eilish

On a planet that is difficult to inhabit, space is becoming tight for most life forms – and also for functioning business models. That is why we actively support the UN Sustainable Development Goals, including through continuous footprint optimisation and, of course, equal pay.

Together Sia

Collaboration and co-creation are the real drivers of development, as a glance at the history of innovation proves. To achieve this, the right conditions must be in place: equality, psychological safety, balance of power. Ken Blanchard put it well: ‘None of us is as smart as all of us.’

Hold the Light The Velvet Sundown

In the age of AI, technology creates tremendous possibilities. But innovation needs more than that: it needs courageous people who are willing to take risks. Creative direction for machines as our partners. And an examination of new opportunities beyond the hype and horror stories.

Song#2 Blur

Sometimes doing is better than deliberating. Lengthy transformation processes in particular need regular bursts of energy. Cheerfulness – or even good clean fun – is the fuel for this resilience. Woohoo.
